France leads the world in Going Green

France leads the world in Going Green! In France It’s Hip To Be Green.  France’s president made a public statment in regards to Trump’s backing out of the Paris Agreeement.  “France believes in you”. “Come here with us to work together on concrete solutions for our climate, our environment”.

France was the first country to make it illegal for supermarket to trash unpurchased food. Instead they have to donate it or give to foodbank.  France makes it clear that It’s Hip To Be Green.  France is walking it’s talk when it comes to making a change in the world.

As a world we must see this issue as a world issue, not a individual issue.  The changes need to happen globally.

This is a huge step! In America 40 percent of food in the United States today goes uneaten. That is more than 20 pounds of food per person every month.  That means Americans are throwing out the equivalent of $165 billion each year in uneaten food.

This feeds the hungry, it saves more food from being grown and produced.  It conservew water and energy.  This step France took is amazing!  Why isn’t other countries following suit?  I don’t know.

France leads the world in going Green for sure. France is setting an example for us all.   Inviting us to move to France to work on solutions together, to slow down the massive waste in landfills of uneaten food, and to provide food for those who do not have food are big changes.  I applaude them. Way to go France!

What my hope is that the movement will continue to not only be Hip, but for many to understand that it needs to be a new way of lilfe. A sustainable and more ethical way of living. Eco-Conscious!
